I'm sound technician for Rhema Bible Church in Tulsa OK.

where i work is a family owned store. but they have quite a few i think all over the midwest. Schnucks is the name. I used to work at Safeway in CO.

I know Schucks. They had a great bakery. I used to shop there till the Meijer store opened. There is a Safeway here too, but it's to far for me. i have to walk eveywhere so i shop close to home.

i walk everywhere too! I think Safeway's prices are higher. Compared to King Soopers and Albertsons in CO

Albertsons is too pricey for me and a long bus ride. We've got a WinCOs. Cheap but nothing out of the ordinary.

I love WinCO. I lived off 5 deli sandwiches for 2 bucks, for MONTHS

I'm a crossing guard. I get to help ungrateful children and adults who are a$$#s cross the street, in the face of %%%%ing idiotic drivers who see my sign and decide that because I'm the individual holding it, it doesn't apply to them. And then I get to have a vacation in the summer.

It's funny, and I've mentioned this on another forum I'm on ... Albertsons prices are definitely regional. West coast is expensive, but here in Fl, they are one of the cheapest around, some of them you don't even want to go in because they're nasty.

That sucks, I just saw on the news not long ago about one of the local crossing guards getting killed after doing it for a long time, an old man. They sped right through him. You need a big Maglight to slam on their hoods if they want to go around you I knew a cop who did that.

A local RPGer confined to a wheel chair has a war hammer as the head of his cane. It has punched the hood of at least one bad driver. Left a hole too.

Job update: Currently working for my college as an office assistant. Really I just stand outside and annoy people into taking free stuff they don't want. Also back in college getting a teaching certificate.

I design computer games for a living, with occasional work as a writer for those same games. Right now, I am also helping to write the content for a 'remote learning' games designer course.

Meijer in Carmel, IN

Meijer stores beat out every chain in Indy for vol. in the Grocery dept. except walmart(boo). I think there is only like 6 stores too. The cool thing is that Meijer is a privately owned store.

i've lived there before. in carmel, not the meijers. =P




oh, right. i was a help desk tech until recently, now i am unemployed and being a house-dad. oh, and packing for yet another move. ^^ i also do computer handyman and a bit of graphic design on the side.

But, since it's started again, I can update.

After two years as a Master Chief Petty Officer, I retired. I lasted about six months with nothing to do and HAD to get out and work or my brain would explode. I am now a General Manager for a title-pawn store... and making great money. This is SO far out of my normal world of expertise and experience that I have problems relating.

All I need now is a group with which to play D&D. Danged Bible Belt anti-gamer folks!!!
