its good to have the backing of a old school guy like Monte. He helped create the 3e ruleset, so who better to tweak it for Pathfinder? It also sends a message, that a long time D&D designer would walk away from the flagship label & back a strong competitor.

i've always liked chatting with monte cook. he's a very nice guy. and he does put out nice work.
