People spam through PM's these days too eh? I usually just see advertisements for viagra from russian pharmaceutical companies and dating websites.

Said action is that the account was banned. I'm sorry you got spammed. I'm working on figuring out some solutions to help deter spamming via PM in the future.
Unless it becomes epic I wouldn't worry about it to much. Restrictions on PM usage are never good for us "private" messengers ;). Did you have anything in particular so far?

I've received other PM spam in different forums including guy porn in one forum.
I stumbled on an "Internet Business" forum last year. The funny thing is they were not advocating spamming forums as it just irritated folks and suggested putting their spam in their signatures and then participating in the forums, answering posts and doing their own.
Anyway, thanks for taking steps.
