What are you looking for?:
I like an intelligent, fun game. I am not much into hack 'n slash, unless it's a one shot arena fight. As a player or GM, I am more interested in roleplaying and storytelling. With dungeon-crawling, puzzles, riddles and traps. I like a game with a suitable amount of character development, roleplaying and in-game politics.
The genre that I like the most is medieval fantasy, but then I'm a fan of D&D aren't I?
Ideally, I would like to find a group of players who are interested in playing a variety of games. Not just D&D, or some other particular game. That once in a while, they may want to play a different RPG, or just have a session of board games or card games if everyone isn't to playing the main game.
Write something about myself? Who the hell cares about what I have to say? Especially about myself! Hell, I don't even want to hear me talk about me! Why would others?Well, I am male 41 years of age. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.I like to consider myself a modern renaissance man. I like to learn a little bit about everything. If it interests me, if I like it, if I get into it... I need to know everything about it. I am obsessive/compulsive that way. I am a computer programmer/internet specialist, computer/fine arts artist, photographer. That is when I'm not working at some daily-grid job doing tech support, or customer service. Or driving a forklift around a warehouse terrorizing co-workers. My interests include Movies, Art, Drawing, Photography, Painting, Reading and Writing, Cooking, Eating & Drinking. You can sit me in front of the Food Network and I'd watch that channel for countless hours. As well as everything to do with Roleplaying Games. I'm not talking about sexual roleplaying games (though those can be fun). I am talking about table-top roleplaying games such as Dungeons & Dragons.Playing, running, writing, reading, collecting roleplaying games. -- Not those stupid computer/internet based things. True table-top roleplaying games. (There is very little roleplaying done on the internet, and it usually doesn't involve any game with graphics.)I enjoy everything about roleplaying games. I've played most every popular roleplaying game out there. I like to design roleplaying settings and discuss the design of roleplaying games. I love a good rules debate. I enjoy painting roleplaying miniatures as well as writing/designing/drawing roleplaying supplements.
