What are you looking for?

I like a good balance of combat AND role-playing. I tend to min-max my characters at creation, but role-play the hell out of them afterwards (and set them up to be able to in character creation). For example, I became pretty famous in my last group for having my rich character set up catering for a seige.

I put a lot of effort into character backgrounds, and like to see them used in the game (though I promise I won't bore you with a 20 page briefing - I try to restrict myself to a page or two, max, and most of it can be inferred by the selections I take in character creation.)

Biography

I've been gaming since I was 8 years old (which puts me at gaming for 28 years as of this writing). I've played quite a few games, but my favorites were Unhallowed Metropolis, Burning Wheel, Serenity RPG, Mutants & Masterminds, Nobilis, Conspiracy X, and Dungeons & Dragons (especially 4th Ed), though I've played - and GMed - a LOT more games than that. I LOVE the world of Rifts, though not it's rules.

I've also recently gotten into a few miniatures games (Infinity, Pulp City, and AT-43), though this seems to be a hobby that's harder to find a group for (as you need terrain to play...)
