As a player, I enjoy that feeling of community among the characters. Being part of a group, everyone having their role, everyone generally watching one another's back. As opposed, of course, to having that one person that seems to be out to destroy the rest. But I doubt that puts me in an exclusive group.
If called upon to GM, I plan to run a Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 campaign. It's set in a country called Umerke (which I created). This happens 20 years after the old king has died. He has two sons, Sacred who is older but born out of wedlock, and Gilgamesh, the younger son who was born of his actual wife. Sacred is half-celestial and Gilgamesh is half-dragon. The problem is that there are no formal rules of succession as Umerke was a newly formed country under it's last king. Cold war has raged for the last two decades and it is quickly shaping up to become a full-blown civil war. The PCs must choose a side and help either Chieftain Sacred or Duke Gilgamesh ascend to the throne.
About Me
Real Name:
Prentiss
Biography:
I started playing when I was 19. Although I haven't had the chance to play non-stop all that time, I've not lost the desire to. I've played Shadowrun, DC Heroes, Exalted, GURPS, Vampire, Werewolf, and Dungeons and Dragons. Most of my experience is with D&D but I'm happy to play any of these games or even to learn some others. I'm up for whatever.
