    hey i see your fairly close to me. welcome to the boards. i think thats great you wanting to get into d&d. i've been playing for too many years to count. i live over by the zoo in morningside and if it weren't for the fact that we have between 6 and 8 players in our group i'd say your invited, but i'm not the dm right now. not only that i pick up a player from our group only about 2 blocks from you on kentucky ave near negley. there are lots of games here you could join. i see if maybe we could squeeze you in but we play on sundays at 1pm. before i could do that you would need to learn some of the rules. oh by the way we play 3.5 edition. let me know if interested and maybe we can work out a few learning sessions. i have a bs from pitt.

I've never played before. I'm interested in something new player friendly. I am vaguely familiar in many ways with many D&D rules. I might be willing to try something I was totally unfamiliar with though as in general I'm fairly unfamiliar overall.
