What are you looking for?:

Looking for a group of grownups and experienced gamers. Tending toward modern and SF these days, but would love a good fantasy game too. As a long-time wargamer, I love minis and tactics, but as a RPGer, I also love interacting with good characters, interesting NPCs, colorful settings and compelling plots. I like playing well-developed characters with relevant backgrounds and skills. I don't really enjoy playing with rules-leveraging, min/maxers.

Biography:

Started RPGs in '79-'80. Was playing AH board wargames before that. I've played and run a lot of different games and systems. I skipped most of 2nd ed. D&D, because I was busy with historical minis (WWII navals) and a lot of work-related travel. I got back into RPGs with d20/3.x, and played weekly for several years, but work travel took over again for the last two years. Mostly been playing/running one-shots at gamedays and cons lately, but I'm home again now and looking for a regular group. Most recently I've run games in Skull & Bones, Alternity Star*Drive, d20 Grimm, and Spycraft 2.0. Recent playing includes Traveller, D&D 3.5, Hollow Earth Expeditions, and Savage Worlds.
