Looking for players for a new 4th Ed. D&D campaign in a homebrew world. An interested player should be open to both story elements as well as plenty of combat. While combat is certainly a major part of D&D I don't believe its the only part of D&D that matters.
About Me
Biography
Almost all of my experience is with D&D and Shadowrun. I'm not really looking to try other games at this point simply due to time and monetary constraints. That being said, if time opens up I may well look into other systems.
As for me as a DM, I am pretty easy going and will try to tailor my games to fit the group. That being said, my preferred style is a mix of combat and roleplay. I am a fairly big fan of the skill challenge system in general in 4th ed., though I may not follow the rules on challenges to the letter. That being said though, I still believe that combat is a significant part of the game and most sessions will likely feature a decent chunk of combat.
I like to create a setting where the players can tell a story and feel as though they are a part of the world. As such, I think the story enhances the combats and the combats enhance the story if that makes sense.
