What are you looking for?:
I am looking for a game that is similar to the game I currently run. It needs to have a serious feeling while not being too serious, it needs a little bit of humor. I enjoy games that are well thought out and descriptive, games with deep back stories as well as backdrops. The only problem I have with the group I currently play with is I would like to play more than once a week, I could easily play 2 to 3 games a week and have nothing going on in the evenings other than Thursdays from 7-11 in which I run my games.
About Me
Real Name:
Ryan
Biography:
I have been interested in RPGs since I was in 6th grade (which was around 1993 or so) and have tried numerous games: Dungeons and Dragons 2nd, 3rd, 3.5, and 4th; Heroes Unlimited, Mutants and Masterminds, All Flesh Must Eaten, Palladium Fantasy Roll playing Game, Star Wars Role playing Game, D20 modern, as well as a few Homebrew games I have made myself. I always find myself returning to D&D 3.5 though. I am anxious to try Paizo's Pathfinder RPG though (since its just 3.5 with most of the kinks ironed out).

Warrior Elves, Magic Dwarves and Colorful NPCs Oh My!

by Drivvic the Southlander on 03-27-2010 at 06:28 PM
Im looking to create an Elf variant which is more hale and hardy and focuses more on melee combat and ect. rather than DEX and magic in Pathfinder for my Campaign in my world of Estrella. I think that they should be tribal in nature and prideful yet not braggarts. I've been working on a build for them and still have yet to find one that is balanced and different enough from normal elves to be noticed. Once I figure out what Im going to do the stats will be posted here.

Also, I am interested

A Goblin Horde and a Squishy Place

by Drivvic the Southlander on 02-14-2010 at 02:47 PM
So, the pathfinder game lastnight was pretty slow and uneventful until the PCs wandered into a huge underground chamber full of muck and mire which was inhabited by a Giant Slug... and coming through the door behind them was a goblin rading party of about 16 goblins... and thier supplies and health were low and thier healer was out of spells. Needless to say It will be next saturday before they get to see how they fair in said encounter.

Orthean Novella Episode 1

by Drivvic the Southlander on 08-07-2009 at 11:50 PM
The drought had ended and life giving rain had once again fallen onto the dry, brittle grass lands as the lone horseman galloped across the open field causing a dark spot on the horizon in the setting sun. He was a large man mounted on a warhorse of an equally impressive size. His metal axe catching the last few rays of dying sunlight as it bobbed up in down in rhythm with the footsteps of the horse as he neared the small hamlet known as keeper's crossing. The residents would have mixed feelings

I think I need to go a little easier on my PCs for a bit. They have been facing encounter after encounter with out being able to rest between any of them, now I know I'm not running 4th edition and the rest bonuses arn't required and ect. but in all fairness, they have been awake for 48hours straight defending the town of Battle Mountain from demonic invaders with only a few moments here and there to drink some water, eat, and relieve themselves. I think the threeday siege will be shortened to the
