I had a long post written last night, which got dumped when I lost my internet for 11 hours or so. Great.
I rather imagine the different conversations exchanges were happening in order. Bank and forth between the monk and K, then N asks the monk his question and gets his answer, then Y drops...
Yrisz deeply bites her lip as silence settles on the cave following Bohumil's stern request.
For moments she stands in Zypher's shadow collecting her thoughts. Finally, standing as tall as she can manage with chin held high, she presents her answer.
"Reverend Hieromonk," she tentatively...
Thank you for the answers, they will form the basis by which I'll make my next post, which may well be tonight if I can snooze a bit to satiate my weariness.
Oh wow, sorry everybody, I really did open up that can of worms or pandora's box or whatever disaster in a canister that I've opened by being plainer. I say this with regret for on seeing the monk's answers I can clearly see that Konstansz and Cutopia were doing a superb job without my meddling....
There, for better or worse a slightly plainer pronunciation. Sorry that I did not get a post in last night, I was hosting a party/RPG game at my house (not as GM thankfully) and it kept me rather occupied I'm afraid.
Without moving from her protective location, Yrisz presents a broad curtsey to Bohumil and his subordinates.
"Yrisz Vulysenyat representing the Vulysen Sisterhood, if you please. I've been supporting this group for some time as their endeavors have pleased my Mistress greatly with general...
Oh, hmmm yes I rather forgot about Pradize. A note about mentioning her Cutopia, for the most part religious people like priests and monks tend to be a bit touchy when it comes to the undead, especially for those who might be working however indirectly as their agents. So my thought is we neglect...
How much truth are we going to say...I don't see any reason to be nearly entirely factual. Has Yrisz picked up anything contrary of this group during the Hieromonk's short speech, like was the woman's announcement halting because she was unsure how to phrase his title, or simply a reflection of...
Yrisz walks almost timidly in the tiefling wake as the party is guided through the fortress by Velsau. Her saucered blue eyes dart about measuring quickly their surroundings and rest long on every soul they meet. When at last the group comes to rest in the tiny cave, she breaths a long sigh of...
Hmmm. Sorry I've been so quiet.
Yrisz will add her everburning torch to the lighting of the area.
Was there any details about the priest of the Great Master or Cohmtane that Yrisz notices (they would very much have grabbed her attention)?
Other then that, Yrisz will be content to ask a...
Yrisz gives a somewhat discreet ushering nod in the general directions of the bushes.
"Sorry, we had a few friends wait as a rescue party in case you and Duse proved less then sympathetic to hour bedraggled plight," Yrisz apologetically whispers up to Veslau as an explanation.
So it seems Konstansz has spoken on the subject, though I agree with both Palpatim and Cutopia conclusion on the matter.
The next matter is should we bring Rogur and Nox in on this meeting, I'm a little apprehensive leaving them outside really...Yrisz could easily indicate for them to join us...
p.s. I tried to quickly bridge the last posts and the current crop. Feel free anyone on elaborating on anything...
From that diplomacy roll (which thankfully is enough for an Aid Another), still would probably reflect Yrisz surprise regarding Konstansz assertiveness with the guards.
Yrisz smiles into her hand, greatly relieved to see Rogur finally return from his reconnaissance slightly winded but otherwise unharmed.
As the group discusses their possible approaches on the monastery, it becomes plain that Konstansz has the most official leverage to gain cooperation and...
Nice rolling over all Cutopia (luckily you don't traditionally roll for Insight, that's Umi's domain)!
Yrisz will use her diplomacy (to look positively benign and yet immensely credible) to aid Konstansz's check.
Also Umi, could you give Yrisz a Insight check to see how the guards are...
Oh, I guess I skimmed Umi's earlier post a bit to quickly, Konstansz is doing the talking...ok. Here I was working up a post on what Yrisz was going to say, no worries then.
In that case, Yrisz doesn't need to be in the van, other that she can't hide worth anything so she wouldn't get into play...
Game went late...do we want Yrisz to do the talking??? She would be her chatty self if that was the case...it also might give a preview what their intentions might be.
Palpatim, are you having Rogur hide near?
Anyway, I'll story post tomorrow if nobody has issues with the plan so far...
Sorry, I got surprised by a free ticket to a Fast and the Furious movie last night when I was going to post (and today I'm hosting a game at my home). So I'll get posted as much as I can...
I'm ok with having those three in the van...originally, I had hoped for parity between us and the guards...
I guess the question now becomes, Umi how far will the forward greeting party be from the hidden party? Such as in rounds how long will it take the hidden party to come into play (or will we be in range for the hidden party to make their ranged attacks)? If we are using ranged attacks, Nox, K,...
Option two sounds interesting to me. We can see if monks are hospitable like they are supposed to be, and that would expose only a small part of our party as expressed earlier. Maybe we should keep it 100% honest. Konstanz is looking to meet with Cresta with some pointed questions about missing...
Running to bed, but we need to think on a story for Y and N to submit to the guards. One that doesn't get us attacked on site, but also something that doesn't include to much lying for Yrisz sake. Tall order, I know...also, I hate to say it, but isn't K and R the only reals citizens of this land,...
Nicely done Palpatim,
If a roll of a 13 doesn't manage what you had planned, then you are a far braver player then I, wait, you are, but anyway I hope your comedy routine doesn't hurt Rogur to much, and manages to win the boy over to boot.
Ok, a little post. I hope you all understand, that a great deal of my posts for poor Yrisz are done with tongue in cheek...see you all next posting period!
From under the shadowy shrub overlook that she and her companions are ducking under, Yrisz flashes the others one of her apprehensive looks. Moving to elevé to be nearer to ear whispering levels with the others, she whispers, "Rogur has been gone for quite a bit, when do we start to sneak around...
P.S. I'll get a little story post in on how Yrisz is getting along with Rogur gone so long, though I'm waiting for it until Rogur posts what his actions are, which hopefully don't include falling out of the tree from astonishment!
