I have really been enjoying using Paizo's Golarion for our 2nd edition AD&D campaign
Preferred Playing Style:
50% Roleplaying / 50% Combat
What are you looking for?:
I really prefer the free-wheeling freedom that older versions of D&D provide. They allow for the focus to be on the story instead of looking up rules. A combat that involves counting squares or takes 45 minutes loses my interest.
My GMing style is to take what the PC's want most, burn it to the ground, and then let them be awesome in gaining revenge or finding something else that they want.
I started playing D&D when I was 10 years old with the Moldvay Basic D&D box set and have been a DM for much of the time since. I took a 10 year hiatus from gaming when in grad school and then pursuing a career and family but got back into it about 5 years ago.
D&D is still my favourite but I also own/play many other games including Savage Worlds, Burning Wheel, PDQ, Barbarians of Lemuria, etc.
