I'd love to team up with a wonderful group of people to explore the "Forgotten Realms", using 4th edition rules. Preferably, this would occur in a high magic setting. Hopefully, we'd have a 50/50 mix of rolplaying and combat.
In fact, if we could "negotiate" our way out of a battle, then that would be awesome.
Because I enjoy a great story, I'd like to game with people who don't rush from point A to point B, essentially allocating reasonable time to explore, plan, or chat meaningfully with NPCs.
Being 41, I relate best with men and women near my age. That said a mixed group of mature men and women would be fantastic :)

I'm 41, a non-smoker, and a native San Franciscan. I'm outgoing, supportive, even tempered, and open-minded
I've played a bit of DnD in the past, specifically 3.5 edition. So, I'm completely new to 4th edition. The best lessons I learned, since playing DnD, are to avoid getting attached to PCs and always be a "team player".
In my spare time, I like to workout, go on lite hikes, and catch a good sci-fi or fantasy movie. Other than that, I enjoy video games, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, eating sushi, and surfing the "Net", with radiorivendell playing in the background.
