What are you looking for?:
I enjoy a wide variety of RPGs; everything from old-fashioned D&D dungeon crawls to indie games that emphasise characterisation and role-playing. I find it's the people that make the game. My instincts run toward role-playing, so I'm not interested in forming/joining groups of competitive power-gamers. I'll happily run or play in a combat-heavy game if the emphasis is on "fun," but I don't enjoy RPGs as a kind of small unit tactical combat game that is played to "win."
I've been playing RPGs for ages. I'm a married-with-kids-and-a-mortgage type, so I can't commit to gaming more than once a week, much as I might like to. Ideally I'd like to find a small, stable group that enjoys a bit of variety in what they play. I like to GM at least occasionally, but I can also be just a player in your group and do my GM-ing elsewhere.
