As a player, I tend to prefer those games that deal heavily with the RP side of things, where said RP can and does have an effect on the game world and the GM can adjust for that as needed. This isn't a hard requirement though.

Been into RPG's since I was 18 and I'm pushing 30 some now, so there's plenty of years of experience in there. I've ran as well as played multiple settings and systems, ranging from Star Wars (WEG), to rifts, to DnD (1st, 2nd, 3rd editions) to... well, name it, I've probably played or ran it.
I tend to lean more towards storytelling and role playing, and less on the -roll-playing.
I do work for the state of CA so with the furlough fridays, I will quite often be off and free those days to play.
