What are you looking for?:

I'm interested in looking for players for games I can run, and I'm looking for groups to join as a player.

As GM, I am currently running Age Of Worms with Pathfinder BETA rules. I enjoy a good blend of roleplaying and combat, and creative teamwork from players. I prefer players looking to play a character and not a "build". Who your PC is, is far more important to me than what he can do. I enjoy creative players who really enjoy a good story and campaign adventure. I do a lot of work on the story and NPCs.

As a player, I am looking for games that enjoy good roleplaying and character development.

In either case, I prefer atmospheres that allow the GM to make the call and move on - without a lot of rules lawyering and arguments.

About Me

Biography:

Started playing D&D boxed sets in 82. Have played all editions. Loved 1st. Now I really enjoy 3.5, and really am liking what Paizo is doing with their Pathfinder rules. Paladins are by far my favorite, as are wizards. I prefer running games where the PCs are the "good" guys vs evil. I never run games for evil characters. I thoroughly enjoy the role of GM. It is by far my favorite. I put a lot of effort into my games with their story and creativity.

Other than D&D, my other fascination is Paranoia - mostly as GM.

I have a good group of players right now - but I'm short about 1 or 2 players - and would love to add to our already great group - we are 30-ish mature family people who have been gaming together for many years. Ideal players for my game are creative, enjoy roleplaying, having a "character" (not a mini), and who is wanting to play a "hero" as part of a group and who does not constantly argue the rules.

Also, I'm always looking for a good group to join to try out a new character - time permitting. The perfect group for me would be one similar to the group I host as stated above.
