What are you looking for?:

When I'm playing I like to role-play and have fun with my character; I can't stand hack and slash games, I get bored. I don't have a preference for campaign settings. I have played mostly fantasy games and a few future/modern games. The best games I have played have been fantasy games with a horror element and I would love to play other games in that vein. In a game I like an engaging story and well thought out NPC's that I can interact with, I can't take a game seriously or get really engaged with it if the storyline is too ridiculous or NPC's too one-dimensional.

I really enjoy running a game, but I have only run D&D games using Forgotten Realms or homebrew worlds. When I DM I tend to run games that have plenty of combat but tend to be role-play heavy and very story driven and I perfer to play with people who can really get interested in the story instead of rampaging and slaughtering their way through every encounter. As a DM I try not to take the game too seriously and I play fast and loose with the rules, but of course, if I bend the rules for myself I'm willing to bend the rules for my players, I'm not out to kill all my PCs.

Biography:

I have moved out to Oregon from MA for school and left behind an awesome group. We had been playing a great game that I lasted for almost 8 months (for which I was DM) and looking to find another group out here. I have played mostly D&D but a little future and modern as well and I have only run D&D games and prefer to use homebrew worlds. I prefer to play on the weekends or weekday evenings, but my schedule will vary depending on classes/work.
