What are you looking for?:
I like a good story, good characters, a GM who knows how to run with them and use the rules to enhance a story rather than dictate it, and players who know how to run with them and not fight with each other, the GM, or the rules. (Characters fighting each other is fine! Players fighting amongst themselves is bad.) Everything else is subordinate to fun, and my idea of fun is an intricate, character-driven plot regardless of whether the campaign is all about Byzantine politicking or smashing down doors with eldritch hyperswords and killing everyone.
I've at least dipped my toes into many systems: D&D (2E-4E with a preference for 3E/3.5/Pathfinder), Burning Wheel, Shadowrun, Changeling: the Lost, Vampire: the Requiem, Werewolf: the Apocalypse, Unknown Armies, Mutants and Masterminds, Arcana Evolved, and more. The only major system I've missed is GURPS, I think. I like groups that are on the smaller side (3-5 is good), I like long sessions, and playing at least once a week is nice. Friendly people make games better too!
