What are you looking for?

My favorite parts of gaming have always been the role playing, but it really all depends on the people I'm playing with. When you have a great creative group that doesn't take the game too seriously or too lightly it makes all the difference. There should be a balance. I've played with a group that took it too seriously and spent more time arguing the rules then playing the game. That's no fun. The GM/DM has the final word no matter what the books say. I miss my old DM. I miss the way his face would light up right before he killed the whole party. Unfortunately he is a four day drive away so I'm looking for a new group. Good RPG balanced nicely with combat that won't bore my little thief mind. I've tried playing other things, but my thieves are always my favorite characters. I had one thief that had gotten so good at hiding that my DM started sending me to the shadow plane anytime I hid... That was so much fun! Unfortunately my DM's one fatal flaw was that he NEVER finished a campaign.

About Me

Biography

I first got into D&D with a DM that wasn't very good, only I didn't realize it until I met Ed. My first character was a gnome illusionist who ended up being a broken character in a broken game. It was a good starter game but once I played with Ed and my other friends I realized what D&D really could be. That's when I played my first thief. My sister played my character's sister who was a wizard if I remember right. My character died a stupidly tragic death. I knew I would die if I touched the demon thing's sword. My character knew that she would most likely die...but it was so shiney!!! Anyway the games that I play are mostly rpg video games. Zelda, Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy... I sort of run a free form alternate history/fantasy rpg with my friends over e-mail but it's kind of dead right now because of so much personal crap that has been happening to me and my friends but soon that will be in the past and dang it! I want to play!!!
