I had a blast at Marmalade Dog last weekend, February 6-8, 2015 at WMU in Kalamazoo.
I learned that there is an active group of AD&D players just outside the village where I live in south central Kalamazoo County, MI. They played in my Sunday session of AD&D with The Village of Hommlet.
I played in my first session of DCC on Friday night, when no one signed up for my Hommlet session. It was a load of fun.

The Marmalade Dog 20 Gaming Convention will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, February 6, 7, & 8, 2015 at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
I will be running Village Of Hommlet using AD&D, as part of the OSR track. There will be several tables each day with other modules and rules. See the OSR Track link for details. Each table can accommodate 6 players.
Come join the fun and spread the word!

I have done some review of the PDF form of the rules and followed some of the online discussion on the website.

Well, I have been gaming heavily with my sons and we are having a blast. I took the plunge and advertised that I am looking for more players for my campaign. Once I am more in the flow of running a game with more players, I may take a chance on running an online game.
Well, I want to play. This is coming up to my busiest time of year for work. I am trying to sell my house to move back to where my siblings and their families live, and we grew up, nearly 600 miles from here. I will have lots of opportunity to play as player or GM once I move. I plan to play with my sons over Christmas break. If anyone lives near Kalamazoo and wants to play AD&D or Old School/clones, let me know.
