As a player I prefer to play in mid- to high-fantasy games set in Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, or just about any homebrewed campaign that a DM can build. I tend to play arcane casters, but am versitile and have a strong understanding of the 3.5 rules. I'd prefer to stay away from a steam punk style of play and the Ebberon campaign setting. I make solid characters, but care much more for flavor and flare than any sort of min./maxing.
As a DM I often run my 3.5 campaigns in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting or one of my own creation. My games are roughly an even split between combat and roleplaying with a slight lean toward fighting. I reward strong, in-character role-playing as well as creative thinking and problem solving. My games can run from light hearted to serious and dark, depending on the want of the group.
I'm always looking for a new group to play with or run for.
About Me
Biography:
I've played in D&D 2nd Ed., 3.5, and 4E, and have run many 3.5 games and a couple of 2nd Ed. I also have some experience with the Pathfinder Beta Playtest role-playing game, Star-Wars, and Mutants and Masterminds, but am only currently looking to play D&D.
I play regularly, a couple times a week, but have playing with the same group for a few years and would like to experience a new set of players to run for or play with, preferably a mature group who doesn't min./max.
