Forgotten Realms is my favorite world to play in, but enjoy being challenged in worlds in which I have less knowledge of as well. I enjoy creating unique characters to create diversity in the group (many groups in which I have played some players play the same character repeatedly). I like games that created challenges, mystery and of course hack 'n slash action. Its great to be able to play a story line in which the characters get to progress to high levels rather than die before level 5. Character growth, development and relationship buidling is important, but not a ncessity.
About Me
Biography:
I've been playing D&D for more that 30 years and have played multiple others from Champions and Heroes, to Buffy and Star Wars. I had gathered books and maps from AD&D 2 through 3E and most recently 4e. I've paired down my collection since my main group of 8 years disbanded after 9/11 and spread scattered throughout the US. I've played with many groups, but haven't found people who love the game, but rather tryout a game or two. the most intricate game lasted 2 years in a storyline that allowed characters to play in three different realms at the same time and travel through the planes to complete a challenge that would end the universe which was quite fun. I'm open for playing on weekends, even all day. But Sun-Thurs night neeed to wrap up by 10 (at this time) since I am up at 5am for work weekdays.
