4E D&D game that is plot driven and a mix of dungeon, overland and urban adventures. Role playing and combat are balanced and DM will work with your level of input. Fun, easy going and welcoming group of players ranging in age from 24-50. We're not interested in arguing rules and game nuances, but in having a fun night of gaming. Self-centered, unaccommodating, and difficult players need not apply. Most have played from 3E on, others from 1E. Experience desired and commitment to attendance needed. We play Friday nights from 7:15i-10:30ish. We just lost a player and another will be moving soon and would like to get back up to 5 players. We're currently at 9th level.
About Me
Biography:
I've played D&D (mostly as a DM) since 1978. We used to have a monthly, 8-hour game on Sundays but have moved to a weekly Friday game in the evening. Many different players have been in our group over the years. Its hard to choose which version of D&D i've liked best. 4E is nice but it certainly is power gamer/combat gamer heavy. 3.5 was good but cumbersome at higher levels. 2 was the golden age, but had a lot of contradictory rules. And 1E, well, it was deadly!
