What are you looking for?:

I am looking for a game that has lots of rp and story with generous amounts of tasteful combat e.g if i'm gonna be at the table for 6 hours i expect about 3 of those hours to be combat or something along those lines. i like games in which my character can accomplish personal goals not entirely related to the campaign. i want my backstory to matter. i hate excessive houseruling. the less houserules the better. i want the environment and my choices concerning my resources to matter e.g if i bought enough rations for 10 days, i want it to run out and i don't want to always be sure of my next meal. I prefer urban adventures over all but i'm good with anything. also i hate time wasting and excessive non-game related chit-chat. if i m there for 6 hours then i should be gaming for atleast 5. i want a group that doesn't hate on another person's character because they did a better job at creating it. I also would prefer if my group used some sort of visual representation of the environment i am doing combat in. I don't care for my characters to be rich but they're not supposed to be paupers either. encounters should hurt and shouldn't be over in less than 10 rounds.

first of all, I am a very cool person to game with. I have certain standards but i am more than willing to work with people. in fact i'd forget them just to get at some D&d. I am specifically looking to play a 4th edition game but I could work with 3.5. i don't *****. i don't whine but I am an adult and an intelligent person and If an on the spot ruling or houserule is going to be made I expect it to be explained to me and make sense. i hve played world of darkness and i currently play d&d(started march 12 08). i would like to play everyday but i can't. all day and night on saturday is good for me. sundays i can be available sometime but mostly won't because of my other group.
