What are you looking for?:

A blend of role playing and combat. I believe that even in combat role playing is possible and it what makes combat truly interesting. Well, other than the whole 'life and death' of your character thing. I have been in a LOT of groups where roleplaying wasnt even a word they ever used and would like to change that. I would like to get involved either in a face-to-face game or a play by post game. I may be interested in one that happens by MSN as well, not sure.

Biography:

I have been a gamer since late 1979 or early 1980 and have truly missed being able to game over the last few years. However in the area I now live in there seems to be a lack of resources (games and groups and stores) for RPG games. So I felt I would try this site out.

My current work hours are Thursday night through Monday night 11 pm to 7 am.

Games I have played:
Earthdawn, Dungeons and Dragons, Advanced and Basic Dungeons and Dragons, Traveller, Star Wars: The roleplaying game (both West End and WotC), Twilight 2000, Traveller 2300, Traveller (all editions just about), Champions, GURPS, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Shadowrun, DC Superheroes, Savage Wolds, Deadlands, Deadlands: Hell on Earth, RIFTS. I am almost certain I am forgetting something here...

Games I would like to play:
All of the games listed above, Anima, Warhammer Fantasy Battle, Mutants and Masterminds (or any other product based off of this), Earthdawn, Shadowrun, Cthulhutech, Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, Spycraft, True20. Well as you can tell I am really wide open to a variety of different games.

I am also getting back into painting miniatures pretty soon (within a week or two of writing this post) so I would - eventually - be able to supply minis for a game.

I am also interested in miniature wargames such as Heavy Gear, Warhammer Fantasy Battle, Warhammer 40K, Hordes and similar games.

I have run a lot of RPG games in the past but am not feeling confident enough right now to run one at this time. I would much rather find a game to play and to enjoy myself in first.
