    my name is will. sounds like you are looking for the same things in a game that i am. i have played with a few groups off and on and i find that the maturity level just isn't there. i am about having a good time and all, but not like most of the groups i have seen. i am a 1st/2nd/3.5 edition player ( i was also a DM some years back), and i am trying to find a group that can meet up when schedules allow. i have a family, and lets face it, that is the priority. i would love to game with people who understand the military schedule and are relaxed as to when the next meetup would be. Are you looking to play any certain edition? where would you prefer to play? let me know if you are interested in starting up a game.

What are you looking for?:
I'm a former DM / player (1st, 2nd ed) looking to get back into D&D (over my wife's protests - she thinks it's pretty creepy). I used to run exclusively house games and have created a lot of pretty succesful campaigns / game worlds. If I get enough response, I'm willing to do so again. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind jumping into an established group as a player. Looking for a mature group that doesn't take the game too seriously but also doesn't spend the whole time making dick and fart jokes.

Biography:
Name's Bill, I'm 30, a Navy helo pilot, about done with an MA in International Studies (which definitely helps with the game world creation). I started out playing at about 11 with Heroes Unlimited, then moved on to D&D, then AD&D 1ed, then 2ed. Was GM/DM for my group the whole time - finally stopped about 4 yrs ago when my group broke up due to deployments / rotations. I have roughly 15 continuous years DM experience (actually had a waiting list for players in college), but have only actually been a player a handful of times.
