What are you looking for?:
I'm a GM coming off a 4 year hiatus looking to be just a player for a while. I am looking for a group of Adults who act like Adults that want to play or are playing a more serious/realistic AD&D game.
My favorite group size is 3-5 (GM included), I've GMed more and less so it's all good, but I'm after serious play and it seems like the more people involved the more BSing and Grabass that goes on.
I'm willing to try other games that are NOT D20. Hate the game personally so please don't ask, I've already said no. Most important is finding people who's personality clicks with mine. Its easy to find players, the trick is finding players you want to play with ;)
Well I started playing in 82 or 83 in those days we played about 60 hours a week! Hard to imagine I know, but if anyone reading was playing back then they know what I'm saying, i was like a religion to us back then.
Yea so anyway I've played off and on since then. Currently I am ready to come back after about 4 year break. We played every friday night for about seven years 90% of which I GMed. I got pretty burnt out and even now am not interested in playing with anyone less then a perfect match personality wise and in a game that is more serious than D20 allows. As already stated I can't stand the system, nuf said.
I play AD&D 1st and 2nd, I've played a bit of a lot of games I have boot hill, played a little V:tM, got some, Werewolf books somewhere around here. I have a pretty nice set of Alternity books, but have never played it. Have some Hero System books as well (Though I don't play champions (NO SUPER HEROES)and I'm sure more odds and ends would surface if I started rooting around the closet.
Just updated my info as of Dec/01/09 I've moved back to where I grew up in the south-east tip of Muskegon county. Ravenna/Fruitport/Cooperville area - still looking for a game...
