What are you looking for?:
As a player I guess I'm looking for a game with regularity. The genre is not as important as actually playing something! Not that RPGs are a "duty" (they are games, meant to be fun) but a little bit of commitment would help (past experience pushes me to say this).
As DM, I like in-house RPGs. Published rules are awesome, but when they get in the way of creativity (technicalities, errata, etc.) those same rules slow down the fun.
I'm Tavo! (^_^)
I started playing around '97 in Sabaneta (Colombia). RPGs were something different, rare, awesome. We created our own games (published manuals were hard to find &/or expensive) but later we came to play Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars, Stormbringer, Vampire, Cthulhu, and a few improvised ones (Fantasia Infinita, Swords & Spells, Final Fantasy, Gundam) violating copyrights left and right.
