What are you looking for?
As a player, I like to strike a balance between role-playing and combat; I love both. I have definitely been accused of being a power gamer, but not annoyingly so; I follow the GM's cues. I LOVE anime and manga and consequently not only prefer games influenced by those genres, but tend to create characters with that kind of tone (though not in a wacky, irritating way). As a GM, I want people to have FUN, dammit, above all else. Also, dependability is a MUST. If you make the commitment, then I and the other players are relying on you, and we expect you to see it through (within reason; everyone has personal problems from time to time). All personality types are welcome, even those that conflict (they make for interesting RPing, don't ya know), but when people are too argumentative or disruptive, they may be politely warned.
About Me
Biography
I started playing 3e D&D and, by the time it ended, knew it backwards and forwards as a power gamer (Book of Nine Swords, anyone?). I currently play in a weekly Living Forgotten Realms, RPGA-sponsored D&D 4e game (I sometimes judge as well). I also run an infrequent Shadowrun 4e game and I'm trying desperately to get games for any of the following going (whether as a player or GM): Exalted 2e, new World of Darkness, Scion, Big Eyes Small Mouth 3e, OVA (Open Versatile Anime RPG), Legend of the Five Rings 3e revised, or Anima: Beyond Fantasy. I really love the new World of Darkness in a tabletop setting, but have come to HATE live-action role-playing (LARPs). I love anime and manga and would love to chat about them as well.
