I'm trying to reconnect to my past--my early childhood. I haven't played rpg's since then. I'm just looking to learn the modern game systems and play in the online chat, experiencing the fascination I had long ago.
About Me
When I was small, my extended family introduced me to D&D. I remember role playing a Thri-keen from the Dark Sun. I think the game master created new worlds every time we played, but used the basic game mechanics of d&d. I haven't played any tabletop rpg game since then.

Currently, the only game I play is Wizard's Poker. Wizard’s Poker is the very first, albeit complex, game of dice to ever exist, invented by wizards during the First Age, enjoyed by smurfs in the Second Age, and celebrated by all magical races in the third. It's basically a gambling game that involves six magical races, based upon the story of The Seven Stones, which I am writing.

I have begun to write this story in my blog for three reasons. First, I get sick when I write. And this is a long story. So I'm going to need encouragement from my audience. I literally cannot do it alone. Second, I need to perceive the book from the eyes of my audience. I need depth of character. A link to my audience has already shown to provide this in my first experimental blog entries. Third, each entry will provide a sense of accomplishment in the publication, adding a stimulating feedback loop for further progress.

I do not know what ultimate value this story may hold for others and society at large. All I know is this story has changed me. The characters have evolved into beings that possess answers I feel I could not have produced without them. I am now very close with them. In this process, my story has revealed deep truths about me and my reality. Regardless of the degree of success of the final story, which will most likely be small, I intend to personally thank in the book all who help me along the way, including this site for providing this modern mediumship of writing. In the very least, this blog will become a bedtime story for my children and grandchildren. I hope yours too. At any time, if you feel so inclined, print a post and read them to yours.

I also currently have a dice patent, titled "Higher Dimensional Dice for Simulating Lower Dimensional Dice," pending at the USPTO. I can't say much at the moment. But essentially, I discovered Plato's Star of Solids and Simulations, which allows platonic dice to exist in a higher dimension within our reality. My most advanced platonic solid can perfectly simulate a 1d3, 1d4, 1d5, 1d6, 1d8, 1d10, 1d12, 1d15, 1d20, 1d24, 1d30, 1d40, 1d60, 1d100, and 1d120 simultaneously with but a single roll. It is a gnomish invention and called a GnomeKnut.

Currently, I am listening to online games in the chatroom. I am learning alot about the mechanics of modern rpgs, enjoying myself, and meeting new friends.

This is a summary of my biography as it relates to games. The rest of my biography is either unrelated, inappropriate, boring, or unbelievable. Until we meet, smurfspeed.

The other side of the pond was bordered by a sandy beach. “This is paradise, Garvey!” yelled Gordan. He had never felt this way before. His whole life up until this day had been filled with much suffering. Gordan cried and jumped off the path, landing on his stomach in the shallow water. He wiggled his fingers and toes in the sand, which glittered with gold. The surf crashed around him. He gulped its cool waters. “This is paradise, Garvey!” his voice echoed back.

Garvey bellowed

The Seahorse Cavern

by PudgySmurf on 03-25-2009 at 06:30 AM
And with that they were off! They hurried along the path back to the school and entered the Great Hall. It was quiet, except for the sound of a lone smurfling galloping to his class. “Pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter,” it echoed down the hall. Then a door shut. From both sides of the hallway, prismatic rays of light shone from the classroom windows, staggered like the fingers of folded hands off into the distance.

“Hurry,” whispered Garvey, “run to the other end of this

The Bell

by PudgySmurf on 03-24-2009 at 06:30 AM
Gordan walked down three steps into the hallway. Its grandeur stirred his heart yet again. As far as his eyes could see, the hall snaked in either direction, to his left and right, and possessed an arched ceiling. From a quick inspection, he noticed the walls consisted of rammed earth. But its architect had used different clay compositions, varying in texture and color, for great visual effects. This he had not witnessed in any other burrow of his life. Gordan now examined the wall closely.

The Horpyroot Elementary School of Smurfs

by PudgySmurf on 03-20-2009 at 06:11 AM
“Welcome! Welcome to Horpyroot Elementary School! I hope you all have found your classes with ease today. My name is Ms. Wormwas,” the teacher announced. She surveyed her new students over the rim of her glasses as they shuffled to their chairs. A plump smurf with a brown beard opened the door, humming a tune and leading a first grader to a chair. He wore a pointy hat of hay, tattering about the rim, a white t-shirt, and brown overalls. He waddled around, noticed the raised brow of Mrs. Wormwas,

In the Beginning

by PudgySmurf on 03-19-2009 at 07:07 AM
Where does this cursed circle begin? I surmise it starts at the beginning of all things. Before you. Before me. Before the earth, universe, and even the creator. For the beginning defines the end, like the drawing of a great circle. A circle so vast and unknowable, that nothing, neither the creator nor the greatest historian, could foresee its repetition, save one--a creature neither planned nor anticipated by the universe. I now hold the parchment which contains this discovery, penned and given
