What are you looking for?:

I'm looking for a 4.0 or 3.5 Dungeons and Dragons game. I have barely played, so I have yet to learn my preferences. From the games I've played, I suspect I will most enjoy games that require tactical thinking and a group that roleplays as they solve problems. In other words, I want interesting fights and a chance to develop my character without spending three months ruminating on life in a tavern.

I would also prefer a game that allows diplomacy and social interaction. During my first game, I loved using diplomacy and bluff.

Biography:

I have played several 3.5 games and two 4.0 games, one in person and one online. I like 4.0 better than 3.5 because it emphasizes combat, which I enjoy. It also seems to do a better job of keeping everyone in the spotlight than 3.5.

I would also be interested in playing board or card games. I generally prefer relatively short games that mix luck with skill, such as the deckbuilding games Dominion and Thunderstone or the dice manipulation game To Court the King. However, I will try other games.

I work until 5:00 Monday through Friday. I don't have a drivers' license, but my mom should be able to give me a ride to and possibly from the game.

Outside gaming, my interests include writing, reading, communication, psychology and programming.
