I'll start/join a game with anyone. I've been in groups with people of all ages, gender, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status... Such things matter not!
And... if it wasn't going to work out for some reason, it's all good. We just part ways.
Started playing D&D in 1984. On-&-Off til 1994, when in college, found my first steady group. Also began playing Spellfire at that time (brownie points for anyone familiar w/ the card-game). Years later I became heavily invested in 3.5 and into 4.0, where I had a steady group of THREE years, ending last March. Recently joined the Encounters game at my local comic store, and we just started to test play the NEXT edition. Ideally, at this point in my life, I'd be most happy sticking with D&D, either 4.0 rules or test playing NEXT.
