What are you looking for?:

The type of game I run and enjoy GMing (or playing in) while having exciting combats, should not be ruled by them, and I enjoy being part of the telling of a compelling story. So naturally I tend to concentrate a lot on character background and motivation. "Role-Playing" not "Roll-Playing". I enjoy exploring the backgrounds and subplots inspired by the background write-ups of the characters.

To me, the campaign universe I run (or play in) is like a spider's web, where the plucking of one strand reverberates throughout the entire web, like ripples in the Force. Actions bring consequences, good or bad. The game should tell a story, not be about who wins, or who has the biggest "toys".

About Me

Biography:

I'm a 45 year old male, who lives in Tampa, Florida, out near Busch Gardens. I enjoy Fantasy & Sci-Fi, particularly Star Wars. I've run 1st and 2nd Ed AD&D, Gamma World, WEG D6 Star Wars, Champions, Both Marvel & DC RPGs, and have played in Paranoia as well as those mentioned above. Currently I'm trying to run 2nd Ed AD&D and WEG d6 Star Wars, alternately, according to the shifting interests of my players. I try to run a game once a week, switching between the two games about once every 5 or 6 months. We are currently playing Star Wars, but eventually I would like to get back to my AD&D story arc.
