What are you looking for?:

I much prefer games that support active and imaginative role playing, both inside of and besides any combat in a gaming session. There is so much more to a game than combat and puzzles, and while these are incredibly important aspects, non-combat related role playing deserves equal attention in my opinion. If we have a gaming session that plays like a good fantasy novel, so much the better. Not to leave combat out in the cold, integrating role playing into combat mechanics as an overlay only serves to complete the illusion of being inside a good novel.

Biography:

I've played Dungeons and Dragons since the Red Boxed basic set came out far, far too long ago. Moving on to AD&D, Forgotten Realms, Eberron, 3rd Edition, etc... With few exceptions, such as Paranoia, I've remained mostly faithful to the D&D universe.
