I'm just looking for flexible individuals who accept all ideas as long as they add depth to the game and provide personal appeal and or attachment to the game. I believe a person at the table should be able to make the game a little bit of their own so that it stays interesting to them and keeps them coming back. That is to say so long as the DM is welling to allow it. Not a power gamer, but I can optimize with the best of them usually.
I've played 2e - 4e of D&D and its by far my favorite P&P game. I love both 3rd and 4th editions character creation process though I've moved on to 4th more so now as I will admit 3rd got pretty obsured. I'm willing to play any campaign world so long as I know the core rules (generally prefer D&D or Pathfinder) I've played original campaign worlds, Forgotten Realms, and the Scarred Lands campaign settings, enjoyed them all. I'm easy to get along with just so long as I can avoid the really arrogant people, who like to make everything about them.
