What are you looking for?:

Looking to get back into the pen and paper RPGs. I am very familiar with the Warhammer 40K universe through books, research, some miniature painting but haven't played much with the gaming systems.

I used to play DnD as a kid (high school, some college) and had a lot of fun with it. I'd like to get into that more, too.

I also played shadowrun and battletech quite a bit. Any interest in those would be welcomed by me, as well. I miss old Fasa games.

About Me

Biography:

I used to play MMOs. but over the past couple years, I've found them to be completely lackluster and unimaginative. I enjoy the technical aspect of most games (the mechanics and combat systems as well as some number crunching) as well as the role playing aspect.

I like playing lop-sided characters like berserkers and burst damaging rogues primarily because I enjoy the chaotic nature of the play style. Though, I also enjoy playing healers and support roles as well.

I'm a mature gamer. I have a good sense of humor. My wife would say my imagination can tend to run wild sometimes, and I'd love to get out and learn some new (to me, at least) game systems.
