What are you looking for?:

As a player: I bring depth and backstory with my characters. I include hooks, antagonists/protagonists/npcs into my character backstories with which the GM can choose to work into his/her game if desired. Every character I make is a memorable one. I love to have an active part in creating the groups story. However, don't take this as being a power gamer or an attempt to hog the spotlight. I try not to create a character/persona that overpowers the group in anyway.

As a GM: I love to spin a good yarn. I enjoy games that hold meaning to people, where characters change and memorable experiences unfold. I encourage players to develop realistic characters through compelling backstories, attitudes and mannerisms. The deeper you immerse yourself the more fun you will have. Show up with an open mind and we'll make it fun. My interest is in the story/scene/action than in rules lawyering. If you can describe or act out something to me in a fashion that is cool, unique and dynamic, I often let rules slide in favor of fun. I like to use theme music, fight music, voices/dialects and a healthy vocabulary while describing my settings. The best part about GMing is seeing my group come back again the following week, eager to tackle the next twist in the story.

Biography:

I am a 20 something military member. I am happily married and my wife has expressed interest in playing RPG's as well.

I have been playing for 13+ years. I played Star Wars RPG (D6-WEG) for 5 years. AD&D, D&D 3/3.5, for 10 years and then some. I've dabbled in Rolemaster, GM'd Aberrant, Trinity, Vampire:The Masquerade, Werewolf:The Apocalypse, Star Wars D20, Spycraft 1, D20 Modern, Deadlands, GURPS
(ugh), and Rifts. There are more, ranging from the austere to the mundane. I am currently working on my own campaign world for OGL 3.5/3.75.
