My favorite campaign was a homebrew DnD 3.5 game set in Stephen Kings Dark Tower Series. As a player, I am very successful as a barbarian/fighter. I am crap as a rogue.
I have run a few campaigns. In my first, I theorized, and crafted an "Anti-party," a handful of characters I feel somewhat attatched to. If you have an existing campaign and want someone to run some villains for your PCs to face (mine, or otherwise) I could give em a ride
My antiparty, in short, consisted of a one-eyed Psion named Phalas, a feral, cannibalistic Jerran Barbarian/Reaping mauler named Tigrip, a Vampire Ur-Priest named Malachi, and a corrupt Asura Ranger/Mortal Hunter who calls herself Desgraca.
I also once put a mid-level party on a boat crewed by NPCs, and then sent them up against a Soul Eater Kraken with a Cohort Cleric who had a Symbol of insanity scrawled on his back. Lots of people died. It was neat.
