What are you looking for?:

I am looking for a group that is easygoing and looking to have a good time. Prefer my GM's to not be routine and accepting of criticism given constructively.

Open to GM'ng (once the game that I'm currently running winds down. No ETA as of yet.) I've been told that I'm decent at it, but I prefer to not get bogged down in the crunchy parts.

Biography:

Greetings all. I’ve been at it for 16 years now, so I can honestly say that I’ve been RPing for over half of my life. My, how time flies . . . for 14 years or so, I have merely been a player. For the past two, I’ve been re-pressed (or would that be pressed again?) into service as a gamemaster.

Brief anecdote: when I was 13, I got a copy of the 2nd Edition Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide and Monstrous Manual. I forced my little brother and his best friend to create PC’s over the next several hours and we commenced playing. Five minutes later, they were both dead. Killed by a swarm of bats.

I put my DMG away for the next 14 years and got really good at being a player. Since that fateful day many years ago, I’ve played (in no particular order) Marvel Superheroes, Star Wars (both d6 and d20), GURPS, Werewolf, Vampire (in Basic Training no less, ask me about it sometime), FATE/Spirit of the Century, Everquest, Ultima Online, Dark Age of Camelot, World of Warcraft, Shadowrun, D20 and every edition of Dungeons and Dragons since 2nd. My current fave is 4E and I’m running my players through Eberron (parsed with Doctor Who, Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan, Jackie Chan Adventures [stop looking at me like that, I’m 31] and some lovely Lovecraftian mythos.) They have yet to understand how cosmically screwed they are.

In other news, I’m also the glue that holds a disparate group of about 30 roleplayers (and probably a bunch more boardgamers) together within a 25 mile limit of me. We’d (um, I would) really like another GM to abuse and to absorb into our confederation. I own my own house so we can play as late and loud as we like. Provide a game and I’ve got your players and play space. BYOD.
