It's quite a hike from Ann Arbor, but if you don't have any luck and want to make the journey, feel more than free to get a hold of me. I will warn you, though, we don't really plan on playing any other board games, but we might be open to play another system. Shadowrun sounds cool; so does gamma world. However, we are pretty hardcore with playing D&D and have never played any other edition together than maybe the occasional Magic game. Nontheless, it's nice to meet you and I sent you a friend invite if you want to accept.

Hey man, welcome to pen & paper games. This seems like a good site to meet other local gamers. I'm in my mid 30's and just recently made the transition from 3.5 to 4e D&D. I DM most of the time; my friend who is 60+ DM's from time to time. I've been campaigning with him for at least 7 years now. My brother-in-law is 30+ and he just recently started playing with us; he started playing 2E, but has no previous acquaintence with 3-3.5. There are 1-2 other players that are in their early 20s that played with us once, but they may not be playing much longer, due to the gas prices where one of them might not play at all because of his schedule. So, the other doesn't want to pay the gas to travel out here where I am living. We shall see though. We were playing on Monday Nights, but decided it would be best all around to get together on Friday Nights instead. I live in Lansing, near downtown.
