What are you looking for?:
The upcoming campaign I will be hosting will be set in a homebrew world called Serzahnk using the Iron Heroes system. Players do not need prior experience with the Iron Heroes system as it will be our first time too but experience with the D20 system is a plus.
I tend to run my games with a more adult and mature atmosphere, though I stay off the more distracting subjects (e.g. sex, rape) so as to not promote an uncomfortable atmosphere unless I am certain it will not be an issue or a source of great discomfort to anyone. At the most open and accepting of tables, these subjects will not take place in front of players and would instead become background elements, available subjects for NPCs to take, and the like; handled 'off screen' in other words.
Our group is currently looking for two new players and we may expand to as much as six players sometime in January as players become available for the game.
If you are interested in learning more about the campaign world, feel free to check out the Wiki I have set up for it. It is bound to my homepage link. If you are interested, PM, e-mail, or Skype me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Much of my GMing experience lies in GURPS 3rd and 4th Ed., NWN through NeverWinterConnections, two online campaigns and a few short D&D adventures. I'm adopting Iron Heroes as this campaign's system-of-choice due to its more natural fit with the flavor of the Serzahnk world and as a low-magic [highly restricted access] world.
I have played in many campaigns throughout my roleplaying history. A few online NWN games, a long list of D&D games, a LARP of Vampire and Changeling: The Lost, a Werewolf: The Apocalypse campaign, two D20 Modern campaigns, a D20 Future adventure, and a Mutants and Masterminds campaign.
I typically play/GM once per week, though I have sometimes done as much as two per week (both as player and GM). My sessions typically run from five to ten hours, the longest I have ever run being a sixteen-hour-long horror-themed oneshot in the GURPS 4th Edition system with a small party without character sheets; I am not at this time able or willing to repeat this.
