What are you looking for?:

As a Player - I best like old school type of campaigns, with lots of dungeon diving, good amount of role play and not too high powered of players. I don't like to play rules lawyers, as I prefer a smooth running game. Miniatures are nice, but not needed. Lot of cheetos, though... yes... those are needed. :D

As a DM: I like to run games that I like to play in! I will probably challenge you with old school scenarios, but I do like to interweave a plot that will challenge your player and take hooks from things you tell me about your character.

Biography:

Ah, I'm just an old curmudgeonly kinda guy who grew up with the D&D blue book, then the 1e books and all sorts of other RPG kinda stuff. I really skipped the 2e/3.x experience, although I came in at the end of 3.5 and tried to learn it. I have played 4e, and I'm not really fond of it. I much prefer the old school flavah-flave!

I enjoy playing other types of games, as I've played things from horror to old school Battletech Mechwarrior RPG, Shadowrun and Star Wars. I've also *gasp* fantasy LARP'ed, and learned a lot about role playing from that experience.

I'm running a solo game with my wife right now, old school style D&D based on a long imagined campaign setting.
