What are you looking for?:

I’m a graduate student working on my PhD. I have two kids born in May 2007 and April 2010 (do the math on their ages…I update online profiles so rarely that giving their ages at the time I wrote this would be meaningless). My wife just transitioned to a stay at home mom and I have a little more free time to pursue a hobby, preferably gaming, and I’m looking at joining something that meets one time a week. If possible, we would also like to find couples into gaming (D&D 3.5 is our main couples’ game) and could host a game at our house after bedtime, or do something during the day on weekends with other families with kids, if any gamer families with kids are in the Winston Salem area.

Biography:

I’ve played off and on since 5th grade, starting out on AD&D, but didn’t really get into gaming hardcore until college. 3rd edition D&D is my favorite system, though I haven’t had a chance to try 4e yet. I’ll play any party role, though I tend to favor divine casters and shy away from arcane. I have my own world built if I ever get a chance to DM again, but running a game takes a little more time to properly prepare than I’ve had lately.
