What are you looking for?:

I like to have an active influence on the game world w/ my characters, from the macro-scale to the strategic battle scale. Dislike railroad adventures. My favorite campaigns I've been through so far were Age of Worms and Savage Tides, from Paizo; these were great!

About Me

Biography:

I started w/ AD&D, skipped 2nd and 3.0 edition, then began again w/ 3.5. I've been in regular games from 2005 all the way till last May, but RL commitments (getting my dissertation finished) kept me from starting a new game after Age of Worms. DnD has been the main RPG I've been involved in, but I also thoroughly enjoyed Cyberpunk 2020 from R. Talsorian, and Castle Falkenstein from the same.

I've done some on-line stuff involving dnd, too, mainly over on the Character Optimization and BrilliantGameologists boards, but I am not a powergamer at all.

I'm going to be in the area starting 11 / 22 / 2010.
