What are you looking for?:

Interested for any group or DM willing to help craft and interesting story and a fun time. Loot doesn't need to be amazing. Exp doesn't have to be extravagant, just a well-balanced and fun time.
I am not looking for pure RP. I had a game I played for a year that was incredibly detailed RP, and had yet to do combat of any sort in it. Needless to say, though inspired by the complexity of the world and characters, I'd like to be able to swing a sword or cast a spell once a session except for situations where the story necessitates a bit more time to unfold or investigation is needed rather than brute strength. If I were to make a scale of 100 pct hack and slash dungeon crawl to 100 pct RP, I would choose from 100pct Hack/ 0 RP to 20pct Hack/ 80 RP. More RP than that and I should just not bother buying weapons and armor with my starting gold.

I don't mind joining a campaign already in progress. I find it can be great fun working my way into such a situation where all the other pcs and players know each other. Sometimes that helps to create a character as well as the party have an idea of what their weak spots are and I can make a character that I know will be useful.

About Me

Biography:

I've played alot of games growing up and in high school and have been away from them for the last 10 years more or less since I have lived in Japan. Though I have played the White Wolf games, i am more interested in D&D since I am having a fantasy jones atm. As far as DnD goes, I have played 1st, 2nd, planescape, 3rd, as well as 3.5e. Recently I also played an excellent 3.5e adaptation of planescape that pleased me greatly. I would be willing to play any of those, or 4th edition which interests me greatly. I have not yet played fourth but have read all the books so far released. So far fighter, hunter, and maybe rogue intrigue me as do some of the other classes from FR and PH2. I can play whatever the group needs as well, though in 3e+ I don't have any experience playing a pure caster.
