What are you looking for?:

I like a group who can be more creative than just hacking & slashing, I like when players surprise the GM. I like running 1 character of my own in a group, although I've handled as many as 4 at a time when I first played 20 years ago. I don't remember what "world" I played in (not surprising since it was so long ago since I played heavily). I'd like to play once a week. I have a daughter who visits every other weekend. I like occasional deviation from game rules if its agreed by all that the change makes the game work better for us all. I'm very easy to get along with, but I'll speak up if I really don't like something.

I'm also willing to learn other game systems, if for variety than nothing else. I played some ShadowRun recently & enjoyed it.

About Me

Biography:

I've been playing 4e now for a couple of years & I really like it, its very different from what I used to play, but in a good way. I like the fleshing out of the characters.

I played for a few years as a teenager in the mid-late 80's, standard D&D. My group went their separate ways to college & I've only gotten back into it a couple years ago. I've read a few Dragonlance books as an adult, and I really like Flint Fireforge & Tasslehoff Burrfoot. And for what it matters, if I'm going to be gaming at someone else's house...I'm very allergic to smoke & cats, so if you have a cat or smoke heavily, I probably can't be there! :-(
