As a player I am flexible but prefer 3.5 more than 4e. A good campaign with a mix of role playing with each other and NPC's. Challenging combat is more fun that a treasure hunt. I like a mix of country and city, actually prefer woods, plains and desert to any city and it shows in my characters but I can play city based campaigns if thats what everybody else wants. I like building my characters up from scratch rather than starting out as an epic lever player. It gives me a better feel for fellow players and DM. I can play anything but prefer non-magic users.
About Me
Biography:
Started in 76 with my kid and slowly got into groups. Lost touch for awhile because of work but got an occasional game in, still have all my old books except for the boxed sets. Retired now and no reason I can't play whenever I want but my last group broke up after 2 years because of a divorce by the host players. I have a bad back so travel isn't an option for me but I am willing to host up to 6 other players in my house. Old Dinosaur who prefers face to face rather than PBP but will if I have to. Prefer mature players playing for fun, game lawyers can leave superior attitude at home.
