What are you looking for?:

I've played in a number of different settings, and have had a good time in each of them; hence, I'm pretty much open to any sort of world or genre. I like more heroic-feeling games, and prefer to stay away from crapsack worlds where the only question is how long you can put off your own doom. Gameplay-wise, I like a good mix of combat and noncombat, although this mix can certainly lean towards one or the other. I've played pretty much anything and enjoyed it, although I tend to lean towards magicky types in fantasy games - however, I can have fun in any role if need be, so I'm easy to incorporate.

My father taught me to play First Edition D&D when I was 12, and I've been gaming ever since. My primary system is D&D, although I have played all the different editions. Recently, I've started playing on message boards, where I've dealt with either freeform or homebrewed systems. I generally play once a week when I have a group, and post regularly to my online games.
