    Hello Ben, I just joined this site to find people in the area. Vaughn is still a little far, but I'm trying to get a game going online anyway. There's a post for it in the fantasy campaign invitations section. Check it out and let me know if you're interested. By the way, I'm not a huge trek fan, but I do enjoy futuristic settings usually. Maybe that's an option too?

    Ben, I've never much been into online gaming. I've tried it out a few times, but with no great success. By online gaming, I'm of course referring to play by post / IRC type stuff.

What are you looking for?:
I am looking for any group that is open and friendly to new people trying to learn the game and get in on some action. While I am a huge fan of Star Trek I realize that very few people here probably are and even then, they probably don't play the PRG.

I'm willing to play with any kind of group in Dungeons and Dragons as long as they are friendly and don't mind putting up with someone new to the game.
About Me
Biography:
I played D&D a little bit when I was much younger. It was 2nd or 3rd edition I think. I have also played Hero Quest ALLOT and still do. I have never played the Star Trek RPG but have always wanted to; unfortunately not being able to find a rulebook for sale means I don't know how to play. :(

As for D&D I have read the rules for 3.5 and would really like to start playing. I own Fantasy Grounds 1 if that would help.

Oh! Almost forgot; since I live a fair distance away from most of you guys and lack reliable transportation I would prefer if I played online in some way.
