- What are you looking for?:
- I am currently looking for players to fill out a monthly Tuesday night Dungeon Crawl Classics (http://www.goodman-games.com/dccrpg.html) campaign I have concocted from odd bits of my role playing experience. I would like to start March 5th, barring that, March 26th. The next session would then be April 16th and then every third week after that. This wacky schedule is the best I can do with my job, school and the generous folks at Wonkos (http://www.wonkos.com) having Open RPG night on Tuesdays.
About Me
- Biography:
- I used to play and GM D&D, Shadowrun and a little bit of Vampire back in high school. I'm into all the usual suspects, comics, WoW, sci-fi, fantasy, etc. After a lengthy D&D 3.5 min max campaign in which I pursued the vaunted Cleric/Crusader/Ordained Champion/Ruby Knight Vindicator build, I became immersed in the d20 ruleset and all the nuances of 3.5 min/maxing. I spent more time researching my character than playing him. One of the other players, a long time friend who I played 2nd edition with back in high school became frustrated with not only the time consuming research it takes to efficiently min max a character but also how easy the encounters had become due to the min maxing of our characters. Then I stumbled upon all the talk of the Old School Revolution, the blogs, etc. And I became fascinated by Dungeon Crawl Classics that uses d20 as its core then builds 1st edition on top of it with insane flourishes inspired by the original D&D source materiel, Appendix N.
